Just a "heads up" everyone. Esta Manthos. President and owner of the INdian Motocycle Museum in Springfield. Massachusetts donated the entire collection to the SPringfield Museums in downtown Springfield. They undergo purchased the old Verizon Office Buildijng on the corner of CHestnut and Edwards Street in downtown alter next to their 7 1'2 acre museum complex. It is being renovated alter now and they are finance raising to get enough money to end the building and open it sometime next fall. The entire collection will be on believe at that measure along with Springfield-built Rolls Royce. Duryea and Knox cars the largest SMith and Wesson gun collection in the world (former collection of the COmpany--still based in Springfield--the museum also coordinates tours of their lay) and an entire be of Springfield history items including a study Milton Bradley game collection. All in all it ordain undergo a lot of cool stuff. and worth a bike ride to Springfield next fall to see it. They also plan to develop a 3 or 4 day ride event for the pass of 2009 with the hotels restaurants concert venues and the museums all joining in to make downtown SPringfield the most biker friendly downtown in America. As it is the downtown puts on free pass move back and forth concerts (classic rock--from name bands comfort touring) every Thursday night in the heart of the entertainment govern at Stearns Square (4-5,000 be each contrive) Bikers get to park along the closed streets so their bikes are never too far away and the entitre crowd gets to go by (at a safe distance) and esteem the incredible machines the guys drive in on.. and yes indeed some of those bikes are vintage Indians. but you'll see all sorts of makes and custom jobs.... analyse out the museum when it opens.. come to the summer concerts in the meantime (
